All around me are familiar faces
Worn out places, worn out faces
Bright and early for their daily races
Going nowhere, going nowhere
And their tears are filling up their glasses
No expression, no expression
Hide my head I want to drown my sorrow
No tomorrow, no tomorrow
And I find it kind of funny
I find it kind of sad
The dreams in which I'm dying
Are the best I've ever had
I find it hard to tell you
'Cos I find it hard to take
When people run in circles
It's a very, very
Mad World
Children waiting for the day they feel good
Happy Birthday, Happy Birthday
Made to feel the way that every child should
Sit and listen, sit and listen
Went to school and I was very nervous
No one knew me, no one knew me
Hello teacher tell me what's my lesson
Look right through me, look right through me
%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;%26gt; i love that song - it relates real well to me
i feel so terrible and sad and alone
and i'm crying uncontrollably
Mad world - im sad and terribly lonely?
How can you be sad and alone if you are very much aware of living? Perhaps you are crying because you feel fortunate to know as much.
--------------------------------------...
If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you;
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too;
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or being lied about, don't deal in lies,
Or being hated, don't give way to hating,
And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise:
If you can dream -- and not make dreams your master;
If you can think -- and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two imposters just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
And stoop and build 'em up with worn-out tools;
If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breathe a word about your loss;
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: "Hold on!"
If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with kings -- nor lose the common touch,
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,
If all men count with you, but none too much;
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds' worth of distance run --
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And -- which is more -- you will be someone.
Reply:This poem is making me sad too.
Reply:You're in Hell. Ask yourself. Have I felt this way before? Always? These are just feelings that need to be acknowledged, felt. It won't kill me to let them be fully felt. Notice the physicality of the feeling. Focus on the body chemistry and tension. Contemplate what belief goes with the feeling. Where did it come from. What is my earliest memory of this, of believing this. What is the TRUTH about that origin - not my child's interpretation/feeling - but the real truth. Your child's pain needs your adult to work through the truth.
If you are miserable, you have to get to the source of the "program error." You are not a computer. You have self awareness. You can change your mind with adult reason. You came here to experience eternal "aliveness" and bliss, heaven - not hell. Do not give up on yourself and the world.

Reply:I'm like you. When I'm aching, I like to wallow in depressing music. Cheery music just makes it worse. I need to indulge the sadness.
I really identify with these lyrics as well. I'm gonna look up this song. Thank you.
Reply:There will be a great happiness when you overcome your struggles.
Reply:" be a Roman in Rome " an old proverb says. Learn to live, for your survival and be happy.
Reply:Nice poem. If you unhappy, you are not alone. Many are.
The best way to deal with depression is to be busy with good works, or simply busy working. If you are truly busy you do not have time to nurse your emotions.
Perhaps some volunteer work at various community programs, hospitals. Read to the elderly or such.
Most people find that self-sufficiency is needed in regard to problems of depression. You need to find ways of raising yourself out of the Well of depression into which one just sinks deeper and deeper if one lets it.
Do you forget the Bible's counsel, when you suffer pray for comfort and help. Pray to God in Jesus' name.
Listening to good music while reading a good book can help some turn away from their own emotional turmoil.
Reply:When was the last time you listened to yourself?, i know how you feel(been there). your voice counts, you are one like all,
deep inside, you know what is good for you first then the others. how can you love or feel love if you don't love yourself? only when you truly acknowledge yourself and accept/ forgive yourself for living to other peoples expectations, then you will feel the light/happiness in your life. you will look at life totally different and it will reflect through your eyes, you will attract beautiful and good energy.
you must believe in you! yes, it is possible. you are the only one that will do that to you, no one else. you will feel like you were born again and you'll find yourself saying thank you all the time for being able to do that. don't give up, a lot of people can't see the light at the end of the tunnel, and they end their lives bitter. do you really want that??
