I looked up the lyrics but there are several singers that sing the song. Who sings the song that is in the commercial? Is it Tears for Fears?

Yeah it's the Gary Jules cover of Tears for Fears, much better song his version is.

Reply:the man who sings it is Gary Jules. I found this out when I searched for the song "Mad World" on youtube.com. If you search for Gary Jules on the site, you can find various videos with him singing the song live in concert.

Reply:I just bought this song from iTunes and it is Sacre that sings it. It was originally by Tears for Fears but I like this version better. It's the one that is on the commercial. It was also in the Donnie Darko movie.
Reply:Tears for Fears ing the original but Gary Jules version is way more better, the version you see on the commercial is Gary Jules version. I downloaded it as soon as i got home from the movie theater when they showed the video game commercial, i love that song.
