A poem thats different? Its about LSD?

Won't you come with me

Just so you can see

My special LSD?

Under good influences,

With familiar faces,

There we shall travel quickly,

So we can begin our night.

I'll have someone feed it to me,

That tiny piece of paper.

But don't let its size fool you;

A different world it takes you.

The paper's like a loaded gun,

except getting shot feels so good.

But damn, it can make you scared,

So be careful of where you are.

I have now ingested it,

I feel like I am floating high.

Nothing bad can touch me now,

Its like straight euphoria.

Through the night, time passes by.

Feels so short, yet its so long.

The grass turns into water,

And the rocks turn into fish.

Rolling around on the ground,

I'm finally in that world,

The one free of reality,

But it makes you understand more.

Everything around me changes,

Nothing is ever how it seems.

Trees turn into huge towers,

I turn into something else.

Won't you come with me

Just so you can see

My special LSD?

(If you have no idea as to what LSD is, then this won't make sense at all. This poem is about what LSD does to you when you take it)

A poem thats different? Its about LSD?
I do like it. I was an acid head, back in the day, not since 1980.

Thanks for Asking ! RR
Reply:Nice poem. Accurate. But your question is what, exactly?
Reply:that is really good. LSD truly does that to you.
Reply:Picture yourself in a boat on a river

With tangerine trees and marmalade skies . . .

A fuzzy bear's delight, marmalade sky-wise.

I remember one trip in Warwick, where they were bragging about the quality of acid in that there neck of the woods, and I quote "You don't just hallucinate trees, they walk up to you and shake your hand."

Turn off your mind, relax and float downstream. It is not dieing.

A nice dimension to visit.
Reply:That's a good poem. I like it.
Reply:Nice poem, takes you on a journey.
