Stuck here on this highway


In a river of red lights


For at least another mile


There’s no relief in sight


Feeling all alone but


From the radio comes


A thing or two remind me something I already know





In this moment You are here with me


In this moment You are closer then the air I breathe


You are the God who reigns in heaven


It’s amazing indeed


That You are here with me


In this moment





A few things on my checklist


That I need to do downtown


So I step onto the sidewalk


Full of people all around


Someone said the city, it can be a lonely place


But even though I know I can’t find one familiar face





In this moment You are here with me


In this moment You are closer then the air I breathe

That You are here with me


In this moment





Anywhere, any time I’m on my own


I hold onto the promise


I’ll never be alone





Even though it’s midnight


And I’m lying in the dark


I think of You up in heaven


And You are in my heart
