My poems:
Fearful Time
The Clock ticks, always going
Never stopping never slowing
Never pauses, doesn't miss a beat
Father time, you cannot cheat
Tick tock, Tick tock
The seconds pass you by
Those precious, little moments
That too soon say goodbye
Every minute, people sit
Waiting their lives away
Sitting, scared and timid
Afraid to seize the day
The Rocking Chair
An old lady sits in her rocking chair
Rocking the day away
Her mind fraying at the ends, ready to tear
Praying someone will visit her today
She longs to see a familiar face, a smile
To make her last few days worthwhile
Her aches and pains she cannot bear
As she rocks in her rocking chair
To the lady's dismay no one shows
No one comes, there's no one to care
As she takes her last breath she knows
All she had left was her rocking chair
Which do you like best?
How could I improve?
Your opinion of a 12 year olds poetry?
You seriously wrote this? Its simply amazing! The only way I would say you could improve is brighten up a little . But other than that I am simply amazed at this poem. Great job!
Reply:I like both there really really good
Reply:both of them are nice. i write poems to and for a 12 year old you are good. im 14 and i think i dont write as good as you
Reply:I like both of them. Maybe u should add more punctuation. I think that about all, they are really great poems.
Reply:I like the first one much better. The second one is good though. Not bad writing for a 12 year old. You got an insight that a lot of adults fail to ever achieve. Keep writing.
